Founding the Kemal Bey Range was Semih Hata’s childhood dream. His familiarity with olives and horses thanks to his family roots tracing back to 1869, Chania, Crete has become an indispensible part of his life in the light of the experiences that he gained with his father.
Semih Hata’s familiarity with horses goes back to that days when he was riding horses in fields. Hata still continues this interaction in the form of equestrian sports and this passion of his enriches our olive groves like a painting.
The family has come to the Aegean in 1923 during the population exchange between Turkey and Greece, and carries the pleasure and honour of continuing the traditional olive cultivation with the fifth generation in Urla today.
Kemal Bey Range feels proud of preserving the Aegean lifestyle and cuisine culture with the table olives and extra virgin olive oil under the brand KAZDERE.
